SUMMARY: Medical Office Receptionist is the key first impression for our busy Orthopaedic practice. The Front Office Receptionist is responsible for providing outstanding customer service by greeting patients promptly either on the phone or in person. Preparing patients for their visit and ensuring that all information necessary for the visit and billing process is complete and accurate. We entrust our patients into your hands.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
. Exhibit strong customer service skill in daily interaction with the public, staff, and physicians in the performance of job duties
. Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, keeping the company's Core Values and Shared Purpose at the forefront of your actions.
. Obtaining and protecting Patient Health Information
. Discussing patient balances and collecting Copayment/Balances
. Scheduling with both the patient and providers schedule in mind
. Understanding and Verifying Insurance Eligibility and the requirements of those plans
. Responsibility for daily collection reconciliation
