JOB TITLE: Medical Office Coordinator
SALARY: $60,000 - $65,000

Job Responsibilities:
- The primary role of the Medical Office Coordinator is to oversee practice operations and business functions in an accurate and timely manner
- Greet visitors and vendors; oversee patient flow.
- Schedule all procedure and follow-up appointments.
- Check and verify insurance data on forms, records, reports & correspondence; maintain department records.
- Ensure optimal use of the facility throughout all hours of operations. Ensuring patient and physician satisfaction and compliance with systems, policies, and procedures established for the office practice suite.
- Establish and implement new procedures to streamline office efficiency; coordinate staff schedules and Team meetings.
- Prepare and discuss financial plans with each patient for full transparency of Out of Network Benefits and Fees.
- Maintain a quiet and peaceful environment that promotes healing.
- Handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity, and within the HIPAA Laws.
Required Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience in the medical field.
- 1+ years of related experience including medical/surgical.
- Strong communication and listening skills
- High level of attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Desire to learn with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Exceptional customer service background; administrative and clerical ability
- Critical thinker, innovative, friendly, compassionate
- Excellent communication skills and supervisory ability
- Working knowledge of medical and billing terminology
- Knowledge of insurance billing processes; experience with medical pre-authorizations
