MDVIP is assisting our affiliate in Maryland with their search for a Full-Time Medical Director. We are seeking a clinical expert to successfully navigate today's complex healthcare environment. This is a unique opportunity to work in a thriving practice and impact the community by resolving issues related to continuity of care. As well as offering your expertise to several area long-term care facilities.

The Medical Director must review all new policies and procedures; review all new incident and new accident reports from the facility to identify clinical risk and safety hazards. The Medical Director must review the most recent grievance logs for any complaints or concerns related to clinical issues.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Family Medicine (required)
• Active unrestricted Medical License MD/DO (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience as a Physician (preferred)

The Ideal Candidate will:

• Interfaces with the MDVIP Affiliate and other providers in order to facilitate and implement effective operations that maintain the highest standard of quality health care.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest health trends and research
• Oversee the activities of Physician extenders and Mid-Level Providers
• Provide comprehensive clinical insight.
• Provide Primary Care services as needed
• Be available for on call rotation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $220,000.00 per year
