Job description

We are looking for an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The successful candidate will have prior experience in medical billing, the ability to calculate and analyze patient data, and a commitment to professional customer service. The Medical Biller is responsible for ensuring that each patient's account is accurately calculated and paid accordingly, and will be required to compose and send out regular status reports. Must have experience with billing Medi-Cal & Medicare patients. Must have experience using both "Office Ally" and "Change Healthcare" provider billing platforms. Ideal candidate will have at least +2 years experience.

Responsibilities:

• Face bills accurately.
• Manage and track insurance errors.
• Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve issues with medical billings.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve coverage, claims, and billing errors.
• Ask doctors questions about medical bills.
• Enter data into the computer system.
• Manage multiple tasks at once; use strong decision-making skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.73 - $23.05 per hour
