MA Needed for Primary Care Medical Office

Part-time,in office, 2-3 days weekly or Full time 5 days a week

Herndon VA 20170

Small privately owned office seeking full time professional, mature, energetic, and compassionate individual to perform clinical office duties.

Responsibilities include:

Providing clinical support as needed, to include:

· rooming patients

· obtaining patient clinical vitals

· administering vaccines/injections (IM) ***this is a MUST***

· performing EKG’s, urinalysis, and other CLIA waived in house testing

· performing phlebotomy *** this is a MUST***

· triaging patients

· cleaning and stocking exam rooms

· ordering medical supplies and vaccines

· assisting front desk, including answering phones, making appointments and taking messages

· contacting patients with lab/imaging results per providers instructions

Job Requirements:

· At least 2 years of hands on clinical experience, supervisory experience a plus, experience must include phlebotomy and injections

· Strong problem solving skills

· Strong computer/EMR skills

· Experience with inventory/stocking medical supplies

· Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task

· Exceptional customer service skills

· Professional attitude

· Must be able to work independently and with others

Minimum Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with outpatient direct patient care preferred.

· Experience with EMR applications.

Certificate/License:

Medical Assistant certificate from accredited program (preferred, not required based on experience)

BLS CPR

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• Phlebotomy: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
