Scotch Institute of Ear Nose & Throat, a division of ENT & Allergy Associates of Florida, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a full-time Medical Scribe position.

Description:

Our practice is in Wesley Chapel (Seven Oaks area) but may require occasional travel to Trinity one to two days per week. Our areas of focus are ENT (adult and pediatric), Hearing, Allergies, and Sleep Medicine. We have 3 physicians and a nurse practitioner.

We have a fantastic team environment, and this position offers great exposure to patient care for anyone with a goal of applying to PA school or medical school.

Requirements:

This individual must be multi-task oriented, motivated, handle a high volume of patients, must be a self-starter. This individual must be willing to learn all aspects of the ENT and Audiology field.

Prefer one-year previous experience in a medical practice. Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice. Working knowledge of computers. The ability to work in a team environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Strong computer literacy.The ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians and team members.
