Job Title: Medical Assistant

Location: Redmond, WA, 98053

Duration: Contract to Hire (12+ Months - Possible extension)

Shift: 8:00AM - 5:30PM

Facility: Swedish Redmond Ridge Primary Care

Job Summary:

Overall Client Pitch:

• Redmond primary care is a larger clinic with 6 total providers.
• Many are very established and see 17-22 patients/day.
• They take up the whole 2nd floor and are in pod models - so there are pod check in areas depending on the provider.
• Each pod has a provider, PSR and PSC and MA.
• Provider is very heads down and not super chatty, likes people who come in and just do their job.
• A self-starter who does not need verbal encouragement/reassurance.

What does the average day look like for this person?

• Duties: rooming, histories, vitals, inbasket work such as messages to patients, My Charting, refill requests, Looking for someone that is interested in Cross Training for Urgent Care.
• EPIC charting

What does the clinic/team look like (how many employees, volume, job roles, etc.)?

• 6 provider office and they all work in pods – each pod has a MD, PSR, PSC and MA
• Great team, beautiful office! Really nice place to work

What are the selling points for this position?

• Great location – right near fred meyer, target etc
• Free parking

Must Haves

• MA-C
• Experienced MA is a must
• Pediatrics and OB experience a plus (they are really screening by this)

What are the technical skills this person has to have?

• EPIC would be ideal
• Injections

What are the soft skills this person has to have?

• Organized, on-top of things, this provider seems like she will be on top of things and will want a MA who can also be so.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: Up to $25.00 per hour
