Internal Medicine Clinic in Norman needs an outstanding patient friendly Medical Assistant for the office. • Provides care to patients of all ages and assistance to physicians and advanced practitioners in the NRHS physician office networks.
• This position is for our Advanced Team Care model in Primary Care.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited program in Medical Assistant Training or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

• Medical office experience perferred, but not required.
• Priority on providing excellent patient care.
• Must be comfortable communicating with patients and othe medical staff.
• Must like working in a busy fast paced enviroment, have excellent attention to detail, and comfortable with technology including computers, faxes and phones.

Licensure/Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.
• CMA or RMA preferred.

Compensation/Benefits

• $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
