Medical Assistant / X-Ray Tech

Description: FastCare a busy urgent care, with two facilities located in Aventura and Miami Beach, currently seeking a Medical Assistant with basic X-Ray License. (Russian /Spanish is a Plus).

This is a healthcare-focused position working directly with patients and their families, doctors and other medical personnel in a dynamic and professional environment to provide the highest level of quality healthcare to all patients.

Requirements:

- Record patients’ medical history, and information such as test results into the EMR system (e-clinical Works).- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.- Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.- Show patients to examination rooms and prepare patients for the physician.- Explain treatment procedures, medications, and physicians’ instructions to patients.- Help physicians examine and treat patients, handing the physician instruments and materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.- Collect laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.- Assists professional medical staff personnel in providing clinical and administrative duties as needed.- X-Ray patients when needed., ECW experience a plus.

You will be required to work evenings, holidays & weekends. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to any of our locations if necessary. ( Please do not send resume if you are not available for nights and weekends)

Basic X-ray Operator license ( BMO ) is a plus, not a requirement. Experience is preferred.

This is a full time position only

Our busy centers are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year - every evening, weekend and holiday!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour

• Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
