Hanowell Spine Clinic is seeking a Full Time Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support in our busy outpatient interventional spine clinics.

We have been providing state-of-the art arthritis, osteoporosis and minimally-invasive spine care to the greater Newton and Walton County areas and have established a reputation as a trusted, outcome-focused practice in our community. We do not prescribe or manage high-dose or long-term narcotics. We are strictly an intervention-based spine clinic.

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant in the state of Georgia.

Job Information:

The job of the medical assistant is to greet and prepare our patient for their appointment with the provider.

Assisting patients with disabilities in and out of our facility, restocking rooms daily, sanitizing rooms daily, charting in eClinical works, follow up calls, preparation for upcoming appointments and assisting with minor procedures in office are a few requirements that will need to be fulfilled to succeed at this position.

The Medical Assistant may be asked to assist the provider with other patient related tasks if warranted (i.e. Radiology equipment and procedure prep)

Knowledge of medications and medical terminology are preferred along with strong verbal and written communications. Application of common sense to preform tasks that are verbal/written.

Strong organization and time management skills are a must!

Current Basic Life Support (CPR AED) certification preferred.
