SEEKING RECENT COLLEGE GRADS/NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Texas Liver Consultants (TLC) is a thriving specialty medical practice with an office in Austin, Texas. We have openings for Medical Assistants who will work collaboratively with our team of dedicated physicians and advanced practice providers.
We are interested in employing recent college grads who are interested in a career in medicine. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, detailed-oriented, and efficient. Strong oral/written skills and an interest in working in a medical office before pursuing an advanced degree in medicine is highly desirable.
Schedule is full-time weekdays. Candidate must be able to reliably commute to our Austin office.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Greet patients and escort them to their exam room
- Document any updates to medical history & current medications
- Enter information into electronic medical record (EPIC)
- Create patient orders
- Schedule patient appointments
- Assist with patient medical chart preparation
- Learn the subject matter and be part of a team delivering quality specialty care
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- No experience necessary
- Recent graduates with an interest in medicine or nursing are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
