Job Overview: Medical Assistant - Primary Care/Family Practice

ProHealth Staffing is seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Assistant to join a dynamic multi-doctor Primary Care/Family Practice in Glendale, CA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, be comfortable with blood draws / phlebotomy on a daily basis, and experienced with treating patients of all ages.

What we offer for our Medical Assistant position:

• Starting Rate: $18-$20/hr. and up, based on experience
• Location: Glendale, CA
• Benefits: Health Insurance, Paid Time-Off, Vacation time encouraged per quarter, 3% annual raise per year.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, No weekends.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities:

• Greet patients of all ages and prepare them for their appointment with the doctor
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Measure and record vital signs and record patients' medical history
• Enter patient information into the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Perform blood draws on a daily basis for all ages
• Assist the physician during procedures and clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Completed formal Medical Assistant education
• EMR experience
• Must be comfortable with phlebotomy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
