We are hiring Medical Assistants for one of our clients in Jacksonville, FL (4 locations across Jacksonville).

Job Description:

• Provide clinical services in a comprehensive health care setting.

Skills required:

• Phlebotomy, Communication, Vitals and Measures, Patient evaluations, Medication and vaccine administration, etc.

Experience required:

• Phlebotomy skills
• Knowledge of basic computer software.
• Skill in using medical instruments or testing equipment.
• Skill in taking and reading blood pressure.
• Ability to interview patients and obtain a complete medical history.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to distribute prescribed medications.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
• Able to provide direct patient care services of a medical nature in a public health, medical or clinical setting

Experience Preferred:

• Computer software to be used: Agency programs (HMS, Office 365 for email, etc)
• Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Agency computer and equipment used necessary to perform clinical services.

Education Required:

• Certification/license per position

Additional Information:

• Dress Code (Business Attire/Business Casual/Casual): Business casual.
• Clinic staff tries to wear public health colours: navy and white.
• Monday – Friday 8:00a – 5:00pm
