RESPONSBILITIES

- Greet and register patients in computer system

- Speak with patients about our clinic services

- Answer phone, screen calls, take messages and provide information as required

- Schedule appointments in computer system

- Assist in performing diagnostic testing

- Inputting billing charges

- Phlebotomy skills desired but not required

- Provide support services to the nurses, physicians, staff and management

- Manage the ordering and supplying of medical needs of the clinic

- Operate computer software and office equipment

- Document work processes as required and maintain files

- Help maintain work areas, exam rooms, appearance, and cleanliness for the clinic

- Always maintain professional appearance and personal conduct

- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

- Certificate as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

- Minimum 1 years of experience required, preferably in a clinical setting

- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

- Skills in organizational matters, including time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and problem-solving

- Strong communication skills

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, nurses, other clinic staff and the public

- Medical billing experience is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Experience:
