Job Title: Medical Affairs Specialist
Pay Rate: $65 to 71/Hr
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Remote (Work hours - 9 am to 6 pm Pacific Time)

Our Client is a Global Medical Device Manufacturer.

The main function of a Medical Affairs Specialist is to partner with stakeholders to develop and lead the execution of the generation and dissemination of scientific knowledge for healthcare providers.

• Manage the planning, development, and approval of literature searches and scientific materials
• Design and plan internal material dissemination and scheduling of external conversations
• Facilitate conference planning, including sessions and poster content, and conversations
• Coordinate integrated evidence planning
• Assist with the management of societal grant and partnership engagements
• Establish, further develop, and expand relationships with other medical affairs departments, global healthcare economics, and patient engagement among other teams
• Incidental duties
• Domestic travel is up to 10%

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 Years years experience of previous related work experience
• Advanced degree (e.g., Masters, PharmD) preferred
• Experience working in the healthcare industry
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including consultative and relationship management skills
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
• Must be able to work in a team environment, working closely with the global marketing team, key opinion leaders, and regional sales managers
• Develop the ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on assigned projects
• Substantial knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to medical affairs operations
• Substantial knowledge of HCP policies and regulations
• Substantial knowledge of regulatory, compliance, and AdvaMed requirements

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $65.00 - $71.00 per hour
