Position Details:
We are currently seeking an experienced healthcare administrative professional to join our Irvine headquarters in caring for and supporting our new patients. This team assists patient cases involving the use of IVF, egg and embryo freezing, genetic testing, IUIs, and timed intercourse cycles, among others.
The Medical Records Patient Coordinator will be responsible for many aspects of patient experience and general business operations including patient case management, medical record review, records and testing compliance, scheduling, payment collection, and call support, among a variety of others. This role is a backbone of New Patient intake, clinical administration broadly, and is a crucial part of helping parents on their fertility journeys.

Qualifications:
- 1+ years prior work experience in medical office setting i.e., medical assistant, medical records clerk, care coordinator experience
- Data and records management, e.g., paralegal, experience is a strong plus
- Fluency in languages beyond English, particularly Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, or Japanese is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with relevant medical terminology preferred but not required
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office software
- Familiarity with EMR software and patient scheduling is a plus
- Local to the Irvine area for interview, evaluation period
Responsibilities:
- Manage cases and medical records for New Patient cases across a variety of treatment services
- Guide enquiring individuals through the consultation, information gathering, testing, and evaluation processes to begin treatment as a new patient
- Assist patients in person, by phone, and via email with questions, scheduling, billing, and all other non-medical visit needs
- Deliver the highest standard of patient service and a supremely courteous and professional experience
- Resolve issues for patients and ensure all patients feel supported, comfortable, and well cared for
- Collaborate with team members to improve individual and department performance
- Coordinate with leadership and other departments to address patient feedback and resolve patient questions
- Develop ideas, collaborate with other departments, and create initiatives to improve the medical practice and standards of patient care
- Serve and protects the clinic community by adhering to professional standards, hospital policies and procedures, federal, state, local, and practice requirements
