Looking for Baylor Shift. Sat 7:00a - 11:00p, Sun 7:00a-11:00p.

We are looking for Medication Technicians for our Altamonte Springs Community. This individual assists Care Leadership in meeting resident care goals and provides care and services to the residents, including but not limited to: assisting residents with medications and activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, etc. Light housekeeping or assistance in dining room during service times may be required.

Job Type: Full-Time, hourly

Education and/or Experience:

• Preferred: Experience in resident care.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Medication Technician Certification
• Preferred: CPR with AED Certification

Other Skills and Abilities:

• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have the ability to effectively understand and use community electronic care programs and scheduling programs as well as perform basic computer skills.
• Must be able to recognize unusual behavior or significant changes in condition with community residents.

Work Environment:

• Constant standing, walking, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and/or lifting.
• Responsible for keeping a clean and neat work area.

We are a Drug-Free Workplace, and all employees must pass a drug screening prior to their start date. Applicants must pass a Level II Background Screening and test negative for COVID-19 prior to starting orientation. Background screening and COVID-19 tests are paid for by the company. All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
