Job Title :: Mechanical and Electrical Support
Job Location :: Pueblo, CO
Position Description ::
- These contract workers will perform a variety of duties in the Mechanical and Electrical Testing team environment.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
- Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
Required Skills::
- Test support – read and understand test parameters/drawings and help facilitate electro/mechanical/cryogenic testing
- Troubleshooting skills – able to read engineering drawings and specifications (electro/mechanical) to help determine cause of test failure
- Torque – mechanical aptitude to apply required torques values to mechanical joints; must have ability to pass training/test
- Precision assembly – ability to perform mechanical assembly operations in a low tolerance environment
- Clean system assembly – ability to perform mechanical assembly operations in a clean room environment
- Vibe lab support – experience setting up and operating a vibe table
