We are seeking qualified candidates for our Mechanical Engineering Supervisor opportunity to join our Williamston, Michigan team! This position Supervises, and coordinates the design of extrusion blow molding machines in accordance with customer specifications, and reviews existing designs for potential improvements and cost savings.

As the supervisor of the mechanical design group your responsible for

· Engineering

o Improvement of existing designs.

o Create new parts and assemblies.

o Stay in contact with vendors to stay up to date of new developments.

o Analyzing problems in the field to support service and to improve our own design.

· Leadership

o Project management for complete blow molding machine projects.

o Support engineers in the design of parts and assemblies.

o Improve internal processes in cooperation with other departments.

o Coordination with the production department for releasing assemblies and the optimization of the design to the machining processes.

· Tools

o 3D CAD Solidworks.

o PDM document management.

o Mathcad for engineering calculations.

o Office programs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (BS)from four (4) year college or university; or five (5) to ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
