Job description

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Truck & Trailer Technician to join our expanding team! Our Diesel Technicians offer preventative maintenance, component replacements, and diagnose issues on our fleet of trucks and trailers.

In this position, you will identify engine and powertrain problems, get equipment ready for use, conduct safety tests and regular maintenance. You will have a chance to make decisions, influence a growing company, and progress in your career!

  • Maintain, inspect, and repair tractor systems such as fuel, engine, transmissions, electrical, brakes, steering, telemetrics, HVAC, drivelines, tires, and body work.
  • Maintain, inspect, and repair semi-trailers.

Job qualifications:

  • Associate degree or two years equivalent experience.
  • A technical degree, certificate, or diploma in Engines, Diesel Technology, or Electronics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, innovative problem solving, investigation skills, strong communication and attention to details.
  • A friendly character and the aptitude to collaborate with others.
  • CDL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification as an Annual Vehicle and/or Brake Inspector.

Salary info:

$20 - $30 / hr
