Position:The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for evaluating manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling/equipment, and materials. This position will assist in the coordination of product and process improvements to meet quality and production goals.

All duties and responsibilities will be done in compliance with cGMP, FDA, and DHS regulations.
Responsibilities:

• Assists in/develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors; process development and documentation including work instructions and batch production records.
• Assists in product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
• Improves/optimizes manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning material and work flow, layouts/space requirements, and equipment.
• Executes ongoing product & process improvements to meet quality and production goals.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and experience in a Manufacturing Engineering environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Location:NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes is headquartered in Beloit, Wis. This location is our primary manufacturing site and accommodates all of our corporate functions. Beloit has small city charm, with a lively and renovated downtown, yet is also close to cities such as Madison, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Rockford.

Beloit is a part of the larger South Central Wisconsin/Northern Illinois region, which offers residents and visitors alike a unique blend of urban opportunities and rural, natural beauty.
