Design Engineer

Double E Company is seeking talented Design Engineers to enhance the talents of our existing team.

Double E Company LLC is a multi-national manufacturer of high quality, custom engineered industrial web handling products including core chucks, core shafts, rollers, core cutters, and roll stands. We provide high performance solutions to industry-leading companies in the paper, film and foil markets.

Design Engineer - Key Responsibilities:

· Develop knowledge of the mechanical components of Double E’s product lines

· Process orders and review customer applications to ensure products are properly specified

· Design products specific to customer applications and requirements

· Work closely with sales, customer service, purchasing and manufacturing departments to ensure product quality and on-time delivery

· Create CAD drawings and representations for customer orders

· Perform engineering support for application engineers and product managers

Design Engineer - Requirements:

· BSME or equivalent technical degree

3 - 5 years mechanical engineering experience.

Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

· Basic knowledge of mechanical principles like torque, tension, loading and deflection

· Good communication skills - able to work well in a team and communicate with customers

· Knowledge of 3D CAD/CREO

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,619.34 - $75,000.00 per year
