Full-time Mechanical Engineer working out of our Eau Claire office located in Altoona, WI!

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is an exciting opportunity to put your creative skills to work! The person in this role is responsible for the design/engineering, estimating, sales and project oversite of commercial/industrial refrigeration and process piping projects. Pursuing sales opportunities, preparing & presenting mechanical drawings & estimates, working directly with the project specific sales team and/or customer, on-going internal and external customer communication, and project oversite to ensure customer satisfaction are all things you can expect as a Mechanical Engineer at Benedict Sales & Service!

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Produce accurate mechanical drawings and estimates.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships.
• Identify & understand customer needs, design projects to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and present project proposal presentations.
• Collaborate with various departments, supervisors, individual technicians, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to oversee project scope & deadlines.
• Serve as a brand ambassador to promote a positive company image and brand growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A self-starter with excellent interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, sales, and negotiation skills.
• Must be organized & detail oriented.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Valid Class D driver’s license with commercial insurability is required.
• 3+ years of related experience is desired, willing to train the right qualified candidate.
