The Environmental Control Systems (ECS) Engineering is an organization responsible for defining and integrating airplane systems for airplane cabin pressurization, air conditioning, ice and rain protection, fire protection, and avionics cooling. Boeing Commercial Airplanes Mechanical Systems Team is looking for a Mechanical System and Design Analysis Engineer to join our team in Puget Sound. This Individual will work within the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA), Environmental Control Systems organization to develop, produce, deliver and support customers who fly Boeing airplanes. Enable high aircraft performance while operating in compliance with regulatory (FAA, EASA, etc.) requirements. We are a team that supports all Boeing models both in development and in airline service.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads the development and documentation of Environmental Control Systems (air conditioning, air distribution, cabin pressure control, equipment cooling, cargo fire protection, nitrogen generating system, ice/rain protection, etc.) design on large fixed wing aircraft.
• Documents processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of mechanical system parts and assemblies.
• 9+ years of Boeing ECS experience
• Environmental Control Systems (ECS) preferred qualifications
• Experience with aircraft and rotorcraft ECS sub-system and component design and qualification requirements
• Experience with the development of ECS sub-systems and components including fans, heat exchangers, ducting, sensors and controls
• Experience with the integration and installation of ECS sub-systems and components in aircraft
• 9+ years of Boeing ECS experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $89.00 per hour
