ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines. Must be shift versatile. Comply with all plant PPE, GMP, and safety rules while demonstrating WINS. Will be required to work at elevated heights. Must have a positive attitude, work well with a team, and have initiative in improving company operations. Demonstrate the plant values. Must become proficient in the use of SAP. Checking out parts from the stockroom to a work order. Must comply with attendance policy and have an excellent attendance history. Must be validated on all equipment of either RAW or RTE sides of the plant. Takes initiative to help co-workers. Often found helping teammates in other areas of cell/line - flow to the work even if it is not their equipment. Have an operational knowledge and understanding of production machinery. Can teach others the Theory of Operations for their unit ops. Prepare and set up production equipment for operation at the start of shift. Regularly conducting Clean, Inspect, Lube (CIL’s) on assigned unit ops for signs of malfunctions (temp, smells, changes in performance, atypical energy usage), including but not limited to, visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, and conducting scheduled testing as appropriate. Perform troubleshooting for various types of production machinery including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Leverage the Defect Handling DMS fixing the majority of the defects they find in a timely manner (typically less than 30 days). Fill out and turn in a DH tag for at least 12 defects annually. Perform emergency repairs on various types of production machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic. Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner. If breakdown occur, conduct a Breakdown Analysis (BDA) and implement countermeasures. Perform routine preventative maintenance and overhaul service of production machinery. Leads the rebuild efforts during the offseason. Identify and implement production line improvements as part of a team. Work with the Line Structure Team (LST) and Pillars to leverage CPS tools and methods to improve the process. Maintain machinery and facility in a state of appropriate cleanliness. Own 5S for their area including conducting health checks and driving improvements. Change over equipment as needed. Complete Change Over documentation as needed. Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of machinery. Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. Must possess a set of common tools as listed by the company. Complete monthly required Alchemy training classes on time. Perform other duties and assume additional responsibilities as assigned by Maintenance
Manager.
Maintain equipment while adhering to high hygiene environmental cleanliness of all equipment and tools.
