Clermont Northeastern High School is in need of a Math teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Candidates must be properly certified. This position will primarily involve providing intervention to students who struggle mathematically.Students who need additional support in math will be identified using data-driven methods and scheduled into an intervention class. The first part of the class will be a structured, scripted math intervention program. The remaining time will be devoted to providing students with extra support related to their traditional math class.
Clermont Northeastern Local Schools is in the midst of adopting a K-12 Math Program that was created by the district's math teachers. The goal of the plan is to align math instruction and curriculum, K-12, to improve learning for all students. A key component of the plan is providing intervention to students who struggle in math.
