Position Summary:
This position is responsible for analyzing the adequacy and accuracy of pricing data requests received from numerous external sources. This information is used to create/update Product and Pricing tables which invoice Customers, Order Products, and inventory/shipment planning activities for Distribution Centers in North America. Position has the additional responsibility of creating and presenting custom ‘price book’ related reporting to internal and external Customers, processing customer ownership changes, etc. (and any related revisions to this information) which is used to invoice Customers, Suppliers, and Distribution Centers, and training new team members.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Review Workflow requests for accuracy, completeness of supporting documentation, and ensure compliance with management approval hierarchy
- Set-up and audit of Products and Pricing including: Item Master, Item Master Supplemental, Item Branch, Item Branch Supplemental IMPACT, Advanced Pricing
- Set-up and audit of sensitive tax and banking information in Address Book for Vendors (A/P) and Customers (A/R)
- Generate assigned customer reporting and assist other team members and supervisor with creating and analyzing various reports
- Provide second-level support of Category Management Analyst desk responsibilities
- Partner with Accounting Managers to establish and audit Product mark-up and pricing recoveries, including Advanced Pricing and Advanced Pricing Setup.
- Research and resolve Product and Pricing inquiries from Vendors, Centralized Purchasing, Distribution Centers, and customers. Update System with any missing information
- Lead various initiatives/projects and create standard Pricing/Item set-up solutions for team. Create/revise Standard Operating Procedure documents/procedural lists/coding schemes to process source data
- Identify process improvements, support management reporting, assist team members with day-to-day activities
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED with 1 – 3+ years experience
- 2+ years analytical experience in database management as well as managing high-volume day-to-day data entry activities such as entering products, pricing, vendors, and customers
- 1+ years of Master Data Management experience within Martin-Brower is strongly preferred
- Must possess a professional demeanor and have strong interpersonal/communication skills
- Demonstrate success/accomplishments working independently and as a member of a team and meet deadlines
- Must have exceptional problem-solving skills and be able to handle multiple projects at a time
- Must be able to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
- Experience analyzing data for purposes of auditing the output of said data
- Must be proactive with the ability to recognize potential problems and bring them to the attention of the supervisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including 3+ years experience using Excel to create reports for external distribution
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends as required by demands of position
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- College Degree Preferred
- JD Edwards software experience
- Supply Chain experience (distribution, food industry, or manufacturing environment) preferred
- Experience in a staff leadership/engagement role preferred
