Mary Welsh Elementary School and Williamsburg Community School District is seeking candidates for its PK-6th grade associate principal position, beginning in the 2023-2024 school year. Preferred candidates should have expertise in building relationships with students and adults, effective communication, adult learning, collaborative practice, conflict resolution, and at experience in elementary-level learning in a core content area or specialty area.

This position is a partner to the building principal, and contributes to responding to student discipline, collaborative grade level teams, special interest teams like IMPACT (at-risk support), PBIS, teacher leadership, and curriculum adoption, and the local parent teacher organization. Contribution to district-wide decision making as part of the district’s leadership team is also an important responsibility with this position.
