Marriott Dual Hotel Sales Manager
Job description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing existing accounts for both Courtyard and TownePlace Suites at Briarcliff to ensure all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded. This position will solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business in the assigned market segment.
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions
- Processes all business correspondence within acceptable time limits. Creates contracts and other related booking documentation as required. Manages and maintains account files.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
- Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to audience, whether oral or written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to develop strong relationships with customers/potential customers.
- Ability to interpret and anticipate customers’ needs
- Results-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Basic knowledge of hotel operations.
- Understands the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand, etc. and knows how to sell against them.
