Midland Tool & Supply is hiring a Marketing Manager to lead its Marketing Department. The Marketing Department includes Midland Tool & Supply, and its sister company, Superior Tool Rental & Repair. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development of two eCommerce style websites, www.midlandtool.com and www.superiortoolrental.com; Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube content calendars for both companies; print materials for both companies; print and digital advertising for both companies; and setting the budget and reporting structure for Department spend and digital performance.

The Marketing Manager will be trained to edit all aspects of the Midland Tool & Supply and Superior Tool Rental & Repair websites, including 10,000+ product detail pages and front-end content pages.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Serve as Marketing Department manager / head
• Supervise Marketing Specialists and Graphic Designer
• Manage and/or eCommerce websites for Midland Tool and its sister company, Superior Tool Rental & Repair, including in-house product enrichment and front-end content page design
• Create annual marketing plans for each company
• Create and/or oversee the creation of social media content calendars for each company
• Create and/or oversee the creation of product and rental demo videos for YouTube
• Create and/or oversee the creation of paid media campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook and Google for each company
• Create and/or oversee the creation of monthly reports to summarize sales, promotional activity, paid media, web traffic and social media engagement
• Determine Marketing Department goals and objectives based on monthly reports
• Update and implement brand guidelines for each company
• Complete quarterly competitive analysis: physical, print and digital presence; product and service differentiators
• Guide the creation of print materials for each company, ensuring alignment with digital media
• Oversee the creation of an annual rental catalog for Superior Tool
• Oversee the creation of quarterly product guides for Midland Tool
• Proofread and edit copy for digital and print material materials
• Communicate with vendor sales and marketing personnel
• Collaborate with sales and purchasing departments to track and spend vendor co-op dollars
• Communicate with and support the regional sales teams, keeping them up to date on website, print and vendor promotional materials
• Oversee the creation of promotional giveaways for both companies
• Support the Product Specialist at “Road Shows” and the sales team at Trade Shows
• Other tasks as assigned by the Company President

Required Experience and Skills:

• Undergraduate degree in business, technology or marketing, with course work in e-commerce, digital marketing, statistics, web design, or social media
• 3-5 years of marketing experience
• Proficiency preferred in Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Google Business, Google Advertising, Google AdWords, YouTube, LinkedIn, and the Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to occasionally travel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Copywriting and editing expertise preferred
• Photography and basic photo editing skills preferred
• Video and video editing experience preferred
  
• Knowledge about and familiarity with the construction industry is a plus
