Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of marketing leads and marketing senior specialists to deliver data-driven understanding of marketing performance and impact across paid, owned and earned activity. The marketing manager will possess analytical skills, problem solving agilities, and will demonstrate how to synthesize, interpret and action off of data on a regular basis. This individual will also possess strong leadership skills, working cross functionally across the organization to delivery results, as well as direct responsibility of team members. This role drives marketing impact on sales and brand equity through a deep understanding of marketing activity performance and impact and helps to inform go-to-market strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributes to the development of a marketing strategy and tactics consistent with the organization's overall mission, vision, and objectives through the use of data driven recommendations

Requires deep understanding of each channel (paid, owned and earned) and an evolving knowledge of channels consumers interface with regularly which shifts day to day
- Helps marketing leadership adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets by utilizing data and analytical skills; conducts post mortems and deep dives of how to improve marketing effectiveness on future campaigns and tactics.
- Demonstrates the ability to pivot quickly and adapt to the changing demands of the consumer based on how the customer is voting with their wallet (financial performance) as well as how the customer is voting with their time (e.g. how the customer chooses to consume the media)
- Liaises with other cross-functional managers to ensure that marketing activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with corporate objectives

Be able to work with Consumer Insights, DACI & finance (and others) to collaboratively collect & synthesize measurement analysis and insights for the Total business, campaigns and continuous media

Oversee regular measurement reporting to ensure it is timely and accurate. Also ensure that reports continue to address business questions and continue to add value

Be able to work with Consumer Insights to translate quarterly fluctuations in brand metrics to measurable changes to the base of Lowe’s business
- Work with Martech to ingest new data streams that further the measurement goals and understanding marketing’s impact to sales, customer and brand
- Drives Marketing projects to completion by leading, directing, evaluating, and developing a team of marketing professionals that effectively engage with and support marketing and enterprise marketing performance needs.

Selects and manages employees who report direct; as well as works cross functionally daily across a highly complex matrix organization to deliver results; ultimately accountable for delivering and executing upon the marketing strategy
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or 3-5 years experience in Marketing or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years of Experience in the Retail Industry
