Marketing Communications Specialist

We seek a results-focused, innovative, customer-centric well-qualified individual to join our talented team as a Marketing Communications Specialist. The job will be remote based out of our Clifton Park NY location. Candidates must be located on the East Coast. You will– under the direction of our Global Marketing Communications Director. – manage integrated marketing communications activities for the Electronic Coating Technologies brand by developing content and campaign initiatives that drive engagement, increase brand recognition, and generate inbound leads. Also, by generating collateral, advertising, web content, email marketing, social media, press release, thought leadership, and events.

Additionally:

  • Develop and promote ECT’s value proposition to align with business strategy by delivering voice of marketing materials and executing content for use in traditional and digital campaigns including collateral, web content, eblasts, social posts, newsletters, and advertising
  • Create multichannel assets for sales enablement by driving conceptualization, implementation and continuous improvement strategies through drafting, designing, copywriting, editing, and publishing creative assets for graphics, videos, literature, advertisements, and presentations
  • Build brand awareness, maximize lead generation, and foster engagement by tailoring, optimizing, and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiples channels, including web properties, search marketing (SEO/SEM), social media, and Pardot/Salesforce
  • Maintain expertise on markets and emerging marketing trends by keeping up with emerging marcom trends and tools, and adapting tactics for improved ROI. Develop deep understanding of product and competitor developments in ECT’s focus markets
  • Develop and manage MarCom schedules by creating, editing, and executing on a monthly editorial calendar in accordance with key multichannel business goals
  • Establish relationships with third-party vendors, agencies, and freelancers by interfacing with MarCom partners to develop support materials and deliver high quality content
  • Monitor, analyze, and tailor campaigns by tracking results against metricized expectations in a monthly report that establishes effectiveness, optimizes ROI and budget, and offers recommendations for improvement
  • Promote ECT at tradeshows and events by coordinating pre-, during, and post-event efforts including booth selection, material coordination, logistics, and messaging. Also, by setting up and tearing down booths, conducting post show analyses, and loading and reporting on generated leads

Requirements

You should have the following:

  • BS/BA Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google AdWords (SEO/PPC)
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Familiarity with Pardot Market Automation and Salesforce CRM
  • 3+ years of experience of integrated marketing/marcom experience
  • High level of creativity and independent decision-making capability
  • Exceptional technical writing, editing, proofreading skills
  • Willingness to take initiative and drive strategic change from concept through implementation
  • Strong work ethic and ability to simuntanenouly manage multiple projects
  • Ability to identify problems and recommend creative solutions
  • Ability to comfortably interact and work across multiple cultures effectively
