3rd Shift -Manufacturing Technician

We currently have an opening for an Manufacturing Technician on 3rd Shift in our Robesonia location - Willing to train the right candidate!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Operate and maintain plastic injection and plastic extrusion equipment/processes, including all supporting equipment (robots, molds, dies, material feeders, dryers, compounders, hydraulic systems, cooling systems, etc.).

· Operate and maintain other automated industrial equipment (overhead cranes, conveyors, packaging equipment, forklifts, etc.).

· Maintain product quality and troubleshoot technical issues with the production process.

· Perform in-process Quality testing.

· Perform machine maintenance, both unplanned and preventative.

· Maintain written records of all process changes and equipment repair activities.

· Communicate relevant information about the running of the shift to staff on the next shift.

· Participate in packing/unpacking molds as required for overseas shipments.

· Work from verbal and written instructions (in English).

· Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

· Manage the work of others, as required, including orienting new employees to the workplace.

· Freely share technical knowledge with co-workers.

· Continuously learn and master a wide variety of new skills.

· Demonstrate a generous approach to teamwork.

· Fill in for other positions (operators, material handlers) on an as-needed basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Formal technical training or the equivalent on-the-job experience

· Computer skills as necessary to communicate with/operate complex automated equipment

· Physical abilities as required by the job - These include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, lifting, and working out of doors.
