Job description

Asenzya, a custom seasoning and functional ingredient manufacturer located in Oak Creek, WI is currently in need of production workers in Grinding, Weighing, and Packaging on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift. The shift hours are 6:30am – 2:30pm, 2:30pm – 10:30pm, and 10:30pm – 6:30am. Most of the openings are on 2nd and 3rd shift. These positions start at $20/hour plus shift premium and are full-time, long-term positions.

Job Duties

Grinding:

• Consistently lift 55 pound boxes, sometimes heavier weights with teammates
• Dump product into tanks to produce target product within parameters
• Set up and sanitize equipment

Weighing:

• Frequently lift 50 pounds, sometimes heavier weights with teammates
• Weigh ingredients using assigned work order
• Inventory

Packaging:

• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Package product in all sizes and configurations and inspect quality
• Follow special instructions in work order and production notes
• Set up, disassemble, and sanitize packaging equipment

Requirements:

• Ability to do heavy lifting
• Ability to bend and kneel down
• Availability to work Saturday overtime if needed
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to work on feet and use hands for duration of shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and math skills
• Flexibility when needed to help in other departments

• Mechanical skills preferred (grinding and packaging)
• Comfortable working at heights (grinding and packaging)
• Cleaning/sanitizing at the end of the week (2nd shift)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
