Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour ( Higher Compensation for Journeyman)

3rd shift ( Possible opportunity for day shift)

Responsibilities

*
You will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and physical structure

*
Perform maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical and vehicle servicing

*
Ensure that all safety procedures are properly followed

*
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance according to schedule

*
Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components

*
Diagnose mechanical and maintenance problems

*
Fabricate/design/engineer to specs

*
Organize and maintain cleanliness of maintenance shop, including 5S of all parts/spare parts

*
Follow work instructions and procedures

*
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant

Qualifications

*
Must have a strong electrical background and able to work independently

*
Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures (PPE will be provided) – Safety comes first!

*
Minimum of (2) years’ experience in industrial maintenance for plant operations or other related fields required PLC, HYDRAULICS, WELDING, FABRICATION

*
Knowledge and experience in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

*
Proficient in electrical troubleshooting and tool machining

*
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment

*
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills

*
Good communication and teamwork skills

*
Ability to handle physical workload

*
Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed

*
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

*
High School Diploma/GED required
