SHIFT: First 7am-3:30pm / OT when req.

POSITION: Full Time

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILTIES

The Material Expeditor’s duties are to support/assist production by unloading properly identifying and marking materials and parts. Staging materials in designated areas, racks and area’s. Loading skids of material and moving them to next operation area’s. Bringing material into production area’s, grouping and sorting materials as directed. Keeping material areas clean and neat, marking material and skids with proper identification. Preparing finished parts for shipping by sorting grouping gathering materials including skids and hardware. Staging and loading into shipping area and loading trucks and trailers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Qualified candidate should be able to safely and efficiently on a daily basis operate a forklift, loader, skid steer, and telehandler as well as other moving equipment when required.
• Organized.
• Ability to work as part of team as well as work independent.
• Take direction as well as use simple reasoning skills when required.

TRAINING

• Company specific training of procedures and safety will be provided.

Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to stand, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is required to walk, stoop, or kneel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles, and is regularly exposed to extreme heat or cold, or temperatures consistent with outdoor weather.
