The Manager will be responsible for business partnering with the global Quality function leadership team in support of financial forecasting/analysis of global functional operating and capital budgets. This individual will be a business partner to the Central Quality function and play a lead role on BDX Quality Reporting in partnership with regional and business unit finance teams in order to meet the needs of the EVP Quality. The right candidate will possess the right balance of financial planning and analytical abilities, system experience, and business partnering to provide actionable information to senior leadership.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to the following:

• Financial forecasting/analysis of global functional operating and capital budgets

• Lead the development of key financial deliverables: ASR, budget, projection and capital expenditure planning activities

• Drive month end processes to identify accruals with business partners

• Lead monthly financial performance meetings with Quality cost center owners

• Work closely with Quality TGS business partner to understand technology portfolio, timing/impact to operational/capital spend

• Participate in bi-weekly Quality Portfolio Projects meeting

• Prepare and present monthly updates with actionable commentary to Quality EVP (financial updates and project status updates)

• Support and monitor relevant global functional metrics

• Recommends and implements changes to streamline and improve the accounting and reporting systems

• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience of FP&A, operations finance, general accounting and/or audit

• Professional experience in a large global multi-segment business preferred

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, BPC, SAP and Power BI is critical

• PowerPoint presentation skills

• Data and analytical modeling

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Self-driven, proactive and seeks continuous improvement

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment; strong attention to detail

• Effectively work across global organization

• CPA or MBA plus
