The Manager, Onboarding and Transitions provides coordination of events, consulting, coaching, and training on organizational processes from the evaluation of candidates through onboarding, inclusive of new team member training and transition to designated customer team(s), for all credentialing employees. Reporting to the Sr. Director, the Manager Onboarding and Transitions will support a consultative team-oriented onboarding approach with responsibility for the following objectives:
Manager, Onboarding and Transitions Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact and coordination for all Talent Acquisition aspects along with Human Resources to ensure headcount management and employee transitions within the Credentialing organization, such as technological, operational, and governance change
- Responsible for day-to-day management, guidance, and professional development of Credentialing Staff Trainers
- Responsible for day-to-day management, organization, and coordination for all temporary staff members
- Coordinate, organize and facilitate Credentialing Education and Training Committee. Inclusive of but not limited to committee minute management, proposed action items, projects, timelines as well as procurement of all appropriate approvals that might impact budget or operational needs.
- Organize, facilitate, and manage all aspects of Credentialing Education and Training, inclusive of curriculum, schedule, resources, and tools.
- Analysis of all internal requests for employee changes (i.e., promotions, transitions, etc.), consult with management to deny or approve as well and communicate all proposed changes to appropriate stakeholders.
- Creation of transitional plans, with competency and supporting documentation to outline all project expectations, scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Oversee and support employee onboarding process and content to provide new and existing staff members with information or applicable updates regarding company, such as new protocols or policies.
- Ensuring that transitions are planned and carried out in a timely manner and within budget.
- Keeping all parties involved with the transition updated on its progress.
- Responsible for the collection, review, and publication of key performance metrics as they relate to candidacy evaluations, onboarding, and education thru transition to designated client service team.
- Spotting any transition-related issues and creating effective solutions to resolve them swiftly.
- Providing company-wide guidance during unplanned changes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, other business units and key stakeholders
- Manage the change management approach in a business and/or technical environment
- Responsibility will conclude when the transition activities are completed, and the delivery responsibility handed over to a designated team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of employee training curriculums.
- Assist in the documentation of user training guides and resources.
- Maintain training guides and resources to ensure they remain current and compliant.
- Collaborate with department leadership to identify situational and ongoing training needs
- Responsible for the collection, review and publication of staff member education training requirements and certifications

Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years management experience required, preferably aligned with software
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field
- Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification
- Ability to work with all levels of an organization
- Ability to sustain good relationships with all support staff functions
