Overview

Aquent's Client is seeking an experienced Music Marketing Manager who specializes in artist relations and talent booking. We are seeking a member to join the team to help manage both internal and external artist, management, agencies and label relationships to engage key musical talent and connection to company titles and brand initiatives across Scripted Series, Non-fiction and Films. Responsibilities include establishing and curating artist and management relationships, reviewing budgets, booking musical talent and performance development across all ranges of productions and activations from ideation through delivery. Support the team in the development of value exchange tools and resources between the company and the music industry at large. A successful candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, quick-thinking, flexible, able to pivot when necessary, thorough and able to juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times. Strong relationships in the music business across all levels and a keen pulse on music and culture. This is a demanding and fast moving position that requires someone who is a proactive and positive thinker, and able to exercise good judgment and initiative while dealing with a high volume projects.

Responsibilities:

• Talent Booking across campaigns, activations, events, festivals, etc.

• Artist and talent relations

• Scheduling

• Budget management

• Content Management

Requirements:

• Extensive and proven experience in the music industry to book artists for concerts, and live performances

• schedule performances and negotiate with the artists directly or with booking representatives or producers to arrange terms of contract, dates, and fees.

• Ability to handle a fast paced environment simultaneously supervising several projects at various points of production (from development through delivery)

• Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters

• Team-player who operates in a fast paced team-oriented setting

• Ability to be discreet and maintain confidential information

• Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly

• Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current production process

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Movie Magic Budgeting, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Mail

The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $108.00 - $120.00 hourly. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
