Summary
Young Living is looking for a professional, customer-oriented Hospitality Manager. This position plays a significant role in managing the daily operations consistent with an 8-room bed and breakfast, café, and our Visitors Center. This person will also play a role in farm events helping with registrations and weddings. This individual has strong organizational and leadership skills, finance and accounting skills, including budgeting and purchasing. A diverse and varied hospitality background and Spanish speaking a plus.

Manage daily tasks of visitors center, bed and breakfast and café teams. Manage Visitors Center Supervisor, Chef & Bed & Breakfast teams Manage all registrations sites for Bed $ Breakfast and farm events Revenue management Rate management Coordinate with all vendors Manage team payroll Create, manage, and reconcile an annual budget Hire, train, and educate staff on proper procedures Determine appropriate responses to problems and emergencies while providing a high level of customer service and handling of stressful situations Prioritize and manage multiple projects at the same time Willing to travel and work evenings and weekends Oversee the visitors center, bed and breakfast and café, and bridal inventory Ensure guests receive a quality experience, answer questions and address customer complaints

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a laptop, desktop, smartphone, photocopiers, shredders, and filing cabinets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Regular supervision of employees in a kitchen. Essential oils are worn and/or diffused in the work environment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to use manual dexterity to handle, feel, and operate objects, tools, and controls and reach with hands and arms. This individual is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to type, file, and lift office supplies up to 50 pounds. The employee must be physically able to tolerate the scent of essential oils worn or diffused.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This position requires the incumbent to be physically present at the assigned worksite. The regular schedule is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an hour lunch, Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university or certificate in hospitality or hotel management, 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, 2+ years management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or hotel management, multi-craft skills acquired through extensive on-the-job training, apprenticeship programs, in-depth industry and job-specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal instruction and on-the-job training, or experience to carry out limited projects involving the use of specialized, complicated techniques and 5+ years of similar or related experience
