Rosemont consumer finance company is looking to add a proven manager with experience in compliance and/or quality control to manage a growing team. The successful candidate and their team will be responsible for maintaining state licenses, preparing annual reports and registrations, responding to regulatory examinations, implementing, and reporting on routine quality control activities, and recommending system and process improvements to optimize compliance and quality. The Manager, Compliance & Quality will report to the Director, Risk Management & Counsel and will routinely collaborate with our corporate legal team and various other functions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Maintaining state licenses, including new applications, renewals, annual reports, exams, notices, and bond requirements, and other activities as required
  • Preparing responses to state and federal agencies request for production.
  • Assist with drafting and preparing corporate filings and registration
  • Managing regulatory and corporate filing calendar, including maintaining annual compliance work plan
  • Executing a quality control program, including a policy database, routine QC review, proactive self-audits, evaluating and reporting on results and recommendations, and working with team leaders on changes that reduce risk and improve our process and customer experience
  • Other duties as needed to support the company’s compliance management system

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional compliance, paralegal or regulatory experience preferred
  • Strong project management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and statistical methods, including proficiency in Excel
  • Dependable and professional with good work ethic
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing competing deadlines and work streams
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members and busines stakeholders
