Manager, Accounts Payable
Job Description:

Summary
The Accounts Payable Manager will partner with all levels of the business to deliver the highest quality financial analysis and support to assist in strategic decision-making. The AP Manager will conduct reviews of account reconciliations and financial reporting and analysis completed by General Ledger accounting staff. They will also research complex GAAP issues escalated from staff and provide direction on technical accounting matters. The AP Manager will manage the accounting and financial functions of a multi-million-dollar business unit including ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, data management, and sound financial controls. This position is part of a hybrid work schedule allowing for 2-3 days per week in the office and 2-3 days per week remote.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Perform day to day functional responsibility and/or conduct financial analysis to identify and evaluate risk and exposure; recommend appropriate action
• Set and communicate direction for your team in order to deliver results in line with strategic goals
• Research and inform team on regulatory issues. Identify and raise any risks and exposures to senior management
• Manage professional employees and supervise large, complex technical or business support or production operations team(s)
• Be accountable for the performance and results of a team within your own discipline or function
• Adapt departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
• Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receive guidance from senior manager
• Provides technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers
• Exercise limited management authority; set employee performance objectives, conduct performance reviews, and recommend pay actions
• Define team operating standards and ensure essential procedures are followed based on knowledge of own discipline
• Process credit and debit memos from customers and vendors
• Work with AP Analysts to ensure that trade payables and non-trade payables are paid when due
• Ensure cash payments are applied when received from customers
• Manage out of pocket travel and expense reports
• Monitor and respond to all inquiries in AP mailbox daily

What We Are Looking For:

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of People Soft is a plus
• Exposure to International currencies is highly preferred

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$94,800.00 - $129,470.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
