Summary
The Maintenance Technician I schedules and performs routine preventative maintenance on equipment and facility systems and at times, assists maintenance and facility technicians.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Schedules and performs Preventive Maintenance on both the Equipment and Facility systems.
Some of the PM actions include cleaning machines and parts, lubricating machine components, changing filters, updating PM procedures to the best-known methods, and tracking/closing the PM within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Education
Minimum education is a High School Diploma, preferred Associates Degree, or Technical Certificate.
Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Demonstrates technical aptitude.
Skills and Qualificatons

Problem-Solving ability
Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC), hydraulics, vacuum, and pneumatics a plus.
Attention to details.
Communication and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office based software
Flexible schedule
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift to 40 pounds frequently.
Frequent bending/twisting required.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
