We are growing and have an immediate opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in our property that we will takeover in the next few weeks located in Gaithersburg, MD- approximately 238 units

Main responsibilities:

• Prepare apartments for new move in’s and complete “make-ready” process of vacant apartments
• Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior buildings and parking areas, including snow, bulk trash and debris removal when needed
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections for equipment
• Required to take emergency pager/phone after hours and responds to emergency calls on a rotating schedule

Experience and skills:

• 2 years experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing
• Valid EPA/Universal certifications are highly desired
  
• HVAC certification
• High level of professionalism in both manner and dress
• Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write and communicate effectively
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
