Job description

Leading manufacturer of premium ingredients for the food industry has an immediate opening for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician for our Fort Worth, TX production facility. Responsible for facility maintenance and processing equipment, as well as material handling and rolling equipment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery using electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of motor components and controls, both 3-phase and low voltage.
• Knowledge of installation of conduit and related fittings.
• Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and related components.
• Repair and replacement of lighting circuits and components.
• Practical knowledge of pneumatic systems and related controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot systems as needed.
• Repair and rebuild pneumatic components and compressors.
• Practical maintenance welding ability for stainless and non-stainless using SMAW (stick), TIG and gas.
• Ability to maintain plant facility, grounds, structure and related equipment.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and calibration of small equipment per instructions.
• HVAC experience preferred
• Ability to install or repair copper or steel pipe and related fittings.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and related equipment.
• Maintain proper levels of housekeeping
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
