Luxor Staffing is hiring Maintenance Mechanic paying up to $30 per hour with 1st shift available. Weekly pay, possible overtime, incentive and bonus programs, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more!

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge and understanding on electrical machine troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and CMMS programs, computerized Maintenance Management Systems for PMs
• Ability to self-manage different jabs as needed.
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on machines, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines, following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Removing defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools, examining form and texture of parts.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
• Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.
• Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques’ monitoring compliance.
• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on wash machines and all equipment in and around the facility.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels’ anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies, placing, and expediting orders, verifying receipt.
• Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplishing job results.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Coordinate equipment issues with Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, engineering, and operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 2 years experience in manufacturing maintenance/mechanic (not building maintenance).
• VFDs, voltmeter use, photo eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, conveyors, pneumatics, bearing replacements, motor/gearbox replacement, welding TIG, MIG, and stick, PLC, forklift, fabrication, relays, contactor/motor starters, and automation.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
