Farmington Country Club is looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our Facilities Maintenance team! Farmington Country Club's Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the successful execution and completion of clubhouse repairs and general maintenance – to include the physical building structure and the mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems – in accordance with standards and procedures, preventative maintenance programs, and safety practices.

A strong candidate for this position would demonstrate comfort, initiative, and success in the completion of the following responsibilities:

• Maintain and make general repairs to the plumbing fixtures, furniture, woodwork, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation system and building structure of the Club;
• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance through Facility Dude software;
• Use BAS system to monitor equipment status;
• Repair and service boilers;
• Maintain and service Club HVAC systems;
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and maintain systems;
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance, such as replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging drains, trenching and laying new lines, and replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices;
• Maintain kitchen equipment, including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, and ice machines;
• Perform painting, carpentry, and electrical work;
• Assist with maintenance of corporate housing units as requested by Facilities Maintenance Director

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• Two (2) years of experience in a related field, including experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems;
• Demonstrated comfort working with planned maintenance and work orders;
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Must possess a current Virginia driver’s license;
• Must be able to climb up to heights of twenty-five (25) feet;
• Must be able to lift and carry up to sixty (60) pounds;
• Must be able to complete assigned duties individually with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively with other maintenance mechanics
