Maintenance Manager/Planner

This position will be preformed at the Chicago Assembly plant as well as the Chicago Stamping plant with occasional travel to Buffalo Stamping plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure tier 2 compliance with all safety rules/guidelines/policies established by Leadec and Ford
• Identify areas of improvement, maintenance planning and scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, material consumption and equipment life & serviceability
• Track and report all regulatory events.

Core Planning Responsibilities:

Detailed Job planning

• Research/validate standards and practices
• Scoping of work required for additional activities.
• Coordinating estimates of material and labor for repairs.
• Development and coordination of site-specific task instructions.
• Identifying tool and equipment requirements
• Manage and Schedule all contractors preforming work at the site.

Additional Planning Responsibilities:

Planning and scheduling for shutdowns (major and minor)

• Gantt charts
• Critical Path Analysis
• Resource leveling
• Development of Planner reference systems including a file of Planned Job Packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each piece of equipment.
• Keeps the Complex Manager informed of abnormal or critical situations.
• Identifies recommendations and or areas for improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
