Job Summary
This position will function as a key member of the Revenue Cycle Department team and reports to the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle. This is NOT a remote position.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Mail/Correspondence & Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work functions, as it relates to timely intake of Mail/Correspondence & Medical Records Request within the RCM department at the Corporate Office. The Mail/Correspondence & Medical Records Clerk is responsible for retrieving all BHG mail from the corporate mailbox, opening, date stamping, scanning/coping, routing, and delivering to the designated departments. The Mail/Correspondence & Medical Records Clerk is also responsible for reviewing/processing all Medical Records requests received at the corporate office via email and/or electronically from all internal and outside entities for multiple EHR’s systems.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of administrative healthcare experience.
- Previous scanning experience.
- Ability to read and understand HCFA regulations, HIPPA compliance and updates with each state
- Ability to work independently and under pressure while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks as assigned
- Ability to adhere to policy and procedures set company wide and inter-departmentally
- Ability to meet production and quality standards set forth by department
- Willing to learn and take on new tasks
