MacOS Engineer / Apple Engineer - JAMF Certified

100 % REMOTE

Duration : 1 year plus ongoing extensions

Requirements

• Full life-cycle project management
• Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications
• Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems
• Document new system components, or modifications to existing components
• Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices
• Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs
• Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems
• Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
• Strong understanding of Apple culture and Mac Infrastructure
• Experience integrating Macs in an Active Directory environment
• Experience using Enterprise Connect/NoMAD/Jamf Connect
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Mac Desktop and Server related issues
• Experience using Jamf to manage Macs
• Experience with Patch Management in a Mac environment
• Experience using Mac software packaging tools
• Basic knowledge of virtualization of MacOS
• Basic Bash scripting knowledge
• Experience deploying Macs using Apple Business Manager and DEP
• Strong troubleshooting theory; ability to diagnose issues surrounding the Mac environment
• Jamf Certified Administrator (Jamf 300 or better)
• Fluent in Bash scripting, Zshell, and Python
• Automation of macOS devices in Enterprise environments
• Deep understanding of PKI
• Network+ or network certifications preferred
• Apple Certified Technical Coordinator
• Demonstrated experience managing Macs in a Microsoft -centric environment
• Experience with 802.1x
• Ability to perform on call duties and other duties as assigned

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $90.00 per hour
